I was literally fighting not fall asleep during the 'feet scene' because of how much unnecessary and repetitive info was dumped on the player. Since it's supposedly a horror game, those scenes should be giving tension. Leave the extra infos for an earlier or later point. The character is supposed to believe in the supernatural strongly but convincing herself that it's not real (even though in this world it clearly is) things should be tightened up to make her progression to realizing this more natural.

Like the cobwebs you mentioned. She was in that room before and she didn't notice them then? If she was there and the cobwebs were properly cleaned up - that could be used as another signal for her to sway her back to the pro-ghost side. Oh well, I'm sure most players won't even notice or care but it really put me out of it, when the basic set up and the style is something I totally could get behind.
